Police: Pennsylvania man snapped woman’s neck after marriage proposal refusal

A Pennsylvania man allegedly snapped the neck of a female friend before beating her with a hatchet after the woman refused to marry him, The Morning Call reported, citing law enforcement officials.

Thirty-four-year-old Christopher Tucker has been charged with murder and criminal homicide for allegedly killing nineteen-year-old Tara Serino.

Tucker reportedly proposed to Serino who then refused to marry him, telling him instead that she had been seeing other men, NBC Philadelphia reported.

Investigators said Tucker then confessed that he snapped and choked Serino. According to police, Tucker poked Serino’s eyes out and snapped her neck before wrapping her body in a rug and leaving.
