Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., continued her crusade against President Donald Trump on Saturday by calling for his impeachment — while delivering a eulogy at a celebrity funeral.
“I’m cleaning out the White House,” Waters said at comedian Dick Gregory’s funeral. “We’re going to sanitize the White House. We’re not going to take what is happening in this country. Haven’t you taken enough?”
Waters said Trump doesn’t have respect for anyone.
“And then comes along this person,” Waters said, “this person who does not respect you, this dishonorable human being who cheats everybody!”
She said Trump and his Cabinet members are dishonorable people who sympathize with white supremacy.
“This dishonorable human being who will lie at the drop of a hat. This dishonorable human being who has the alt-right and the KKK and everybody else inside his Cabinet!” she said.
The audience appeared to approve, applauding several of her comments about Trump.
“I’m gonna say, ‘Impeach 45 every day,’ ‘Impeach 45 every day,’ ‘Impeach 45 every day,’” Waters said.
Waters has been a vocal opponent of Trump since he took office in January.
Following Trump’s public spat with MSNBC hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski in June, Waters raised the idea of exiling Trump.
“Women are outraged and fed up with this president. Impeachment isn’t enough. Should we explore exile?” Waters tweeted.

Waters gave a speech in March on the House floor in which she called on like-minded people to reject the president because he was destroying the country.
“When we fight against this president, and we point out how dangerous he is for this society and for this country, we’re fighting for the democracy. We’re fighting for America,” Waters said.
She also questioned the patriotism of those who support Trump.
“We’re saying to those who say they’re patriotic but they’ve turned a blind eye to the destruction that he’s about to cause this country, ‘You’re not nearly as patriotic as we are,’” she said.
